Rehabilitate - Operate - Transfer of Antsirabe Power Plant (Madagascar)
Antsirabe power plant is a great success story of Vespower on Rehabilitate – Operate – Transfer business model structure. The plant was a non-operational HFO Power Plant while Vespower have taken the operational rights. Plant has been repowered and COD commenced in less than four months period under the PPA with BOT scheme.
All necessary remedial actions are taken by using our own financial and technical capabilities to increase power capacity to 150% of the initial design capacity less than a 4-month period.
Vespower established full capacity workshop at the plant.
After all remedial implementations, the plant is under our Operation and Maintenance as per Power Purchase Agreement for contract term of 10 years.
- Reciprocating Engine major repairs

Initial Status of Tamatave and Mahajanga Power Plant was catastrophically damaged and non-operational
All technical actions for main engine and auxiliary machinery, maintenance work and recondition service provided completely by Vespower field service experienced team
Currently Tamatave and Mahajanga Power Plant is fully functional and operated by Vespower on ROT basis.
